Priva Technologies’ Cleared Security Platform provides financial institutions with a solution that conforms to FFIEC standards for authenticating the identity of customers using on-line products and services. FFIEC standards call for financial institutions to insure the security of user access, user data, firewall policy, and remote access by collecting, retaining, and reviewing access and transaction logs and audit trails. On August 8, 2001, the FFIEC agencies issued a guidance document entitled Authentication in an Electronic Banking Environment (2001 Guidance). This document focused on the risk management controls necessary to authenticate the identity of retail and commercial customers accessing Internet-based financial services. The company...
Priva Technologies, Inc. (Priva) develops and markets advanced authentication technologies and transaction processing solutions for a variety of government, enterprise, and consumer markets.
For retailers, Priva developed the patented end-to-end infrastructure needed to connect real-time one-to-one marketing, loyalty and payment programs, with full settlement services.
Focused on the technology and infrastructure convergence that is occurring within the authentication market, Priva has uniquely differentiated itself by redefining the authentication trust lines and developing system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. While most authentication solutions on the market today require a trade-off between security and practicality, Priva has uniquely differentiated itself by creating an authentication infrastructure that provides multi-factor authentication with certainty, and transaction audit trails with non-repudiation, through a solution that is intuitively simple to use.
This system easily integrates with thousands of existing applications, including security, one-time-password, single sign-on, loyalty, marketing, and payment. The company is headquartered in Chicago, IL. with engineering facilities in Cupertino, CA and Rolling Meadows, IL, Priva is institutionally-backed and privately-held.
